Luís Monteiro Rodrigues |
Academic, PhD by the ULisboa, full professor of physiology and pathophysiology, with a particular focus in experimental dermatology (efficacy and safety of topical products). Founder member and secretary of the EEMCO Group, and 1st executive director of SPCC, the Portuguese society of Cosmetic Sciences (-2016), he is part of many scientific societies, and involved in the editorial board of various journals, being the Chief-editor of Biomedical and Biopharmaceutical Research journal. He gathered multiple awards, while publishing more than 500 science publications including book chapters and papers in specialized journals. |

Enzo Berardesca |
MD, current Director of Clinical Dermatology at the San Gallicano Dermatological Institute, Rome, Italy. Obtained his training at the University of Pavia and received the M.D. degree in 1979. He served as assistant at the Dept. of Dermatology, IRCCS Policlinico S. Matteo, Pavia from 1982 to 1987, as assistant research the Dept. of Dermatology, University of California School of Medicine in San Francisco, USA in 1987. He was Chairman of ISBS - the International Society for Bioengineering and the Skin from 1990 -1996, and organized several international meetings on skin bioengineering and irritant contact dermatitis in Europe. He is part of the editorial board of Skin Pharmacology, Skin Research and Technology, The American Journal of Clinical Dermatology and the Journal of Cutaneous and Ocular Toxicology, member of the European Association of Dermatology (EADV), the Italian Italian Society of Dermatology (SIDEMAST), the ISBS. He is author of 11 books and more than 400 papers and book chapters. |

Industry, Pharm, Dr Med Sc, Assoc Prof, Uppsala university. Founder and owner of Eviderm Institute, with long industry experiences in the development of cosmetics, topical pharmaceuticals and medical devices focusing on dermatological research, particularly skin barrier function, contact dermatitis, biophysical measurement, safety evaluation and regulatory. She has published about 100 original papers, reviews, patents and books. |

Former Professor of Toxicology and Cosmetology (Bordeaux –France, Brussels- Belgium and São Paulo - Brazil) with specific training in experimental toxicology and pharmacology. Former member of the SCCNFP (EU Commission) and scientific expert next to National and International Authorities. Founder and former manager of the EVIC International Group, a service organization devoted to safety and efficacy assessment of industrial products. Currently Worldwide Consultant in the field of Cosmetics, Medical Devices, Foods and Drugs. Chairman of AFNOR TC21G and TC92J, CEN TC392 and ISO TC217/WG7. J. Fluhr |
Prof. Joachim W. Fluhr, MD, dermatologist and allergologist at the Dept. of Dermatology and Allergology, Charité Universitätsmedizin, Berlin, Germany. He received his medical training in Mainz, Strasbourg and Karlsruhe. He worked as researcher in Karlsruhe, Pavia, San Francisco, Rome, Jena and currently in Berlin. His research interests are non-invasive assessments in skin physiology, skin imaging, physiology of newborn-skin, stratum corneum acidification, oxidative network of the epidermis, inflammatory skin diseases, urticaria and sensitive skin. He authored more than 200 papers and 6 books. Prof. Fluhr serves as associated editor and editorial board member for several international peer reviewed journals. He organized more than 20 international meetings among them the Gordon Research Conference on barrier function of mammalian skin in 2017. He is board member of the ISBS (chair of the scientific program committee) and member of 7 international and nation scientific associations. |
